Watching Mr Strain (bio teacher and basketball coach) in spring 1973 get upset at two girls who transferred to Central from Stevens. They were called on to answer questions. Refused. Rude and snotty. He told them to leave. They refused. He picked up the most argumentative girl out of her seat and threw her on her bottom legs midair. They left. Admin transferred them to another section. Mr Strain had little patience for backtalk, particularly from privileged girls from Stevens High.
